5. My city is situated on the bank of river Dnipro.
There are many modern and old buildings in Kyiv. There are many museums, theatres, cinemas. Among the places of historic interest there are St. Sophia Cathedral, Kyiv-Pechersky Monastery. St. Volodymyr Cathedral, Golden Gates, Church of St. Andrew also attract attention of many visitors. Our city is green, so people like to go to the parks to have a rest or to walk. One half of its territory is occupied by gardens and parks, and in spring and summer time the trees and bushes are ful of greenery, and the city looks like one huge park.
