Known as I.ondon-by-the-Sea, Brighton is only 30 minutes from London-Gatwick International Airport, 50 minutes by train from London itself and a few minutes from the cross channel ferry to France. li s a student town with activities centered on the "Lanes" area-originally the old fishing village of Brighthelmestone.
